The Rapture, Christ and The Antichrist…

The Rapture, Christ and The Antichrist…

Anti is a Greek prefix that not only means “opposed to” but “in the place of.” Antichrist will indeed oppose Christ but in the most diabolically clever way possible: by pretending to be Christ. For the world to follow and worship him, a false Christianity must become the world religion—a “Christianity” that all religions can accept and that embraces all religions into “one faith.” Hence the necessity for today’s growing apostasy: to create an apostate church to be the Antichrist’s earthly bride, just as the true church is Christ’s heavenly bride. Such is the important role of the New Age movement and the many accelerating delusions and seductions in these “last days.”

Through a false gospel, false prophets, occultic religious practices and lying “signs and wonders,” today’s churches are being filled with millions who call themselves Christians, but who are not. Left behind at the Rapture, and happy that the “negative” influence of the vanished troublemakers has been removed, they will worship and follow the Antichrist, thinking he is the true Christ and that they have “never had it so good.” An ecumenized “Christianity,” in partnership with all religions, will carry on and prosper even more after the Rapture than before. The unifying factor will be concern for Mother Earth. Working for peace and ecological wholeness will have replaced truth as the basis of Christianity, as the World Council of Churches has already decreed.

Far from being a cop-out invented by those who desire to escape persecution (which could become very severe in America before the Rapture), a pretribulation Rapture is essential for a number of reasons: first of all, to remove the true Christians from earth. If they were present when Antichrist was revealed, they would oppose and expose him. Such opposition must be removed in order to give Satan and man, under Antichrist’s leadership, full freedom to prove that this earth can be turned back into a garden paradise without God. The Holy Spirit, who is omnipresent, will still convict and draw many to Christ during the Great Tribulation. The restraining influence, however, that He has wielded in this world through the millions of true Christians, will have suddenly been removed, leaving a moral and spiritual vacuum in homes, neighborhoods, businesses, and schools such as we cannot even imagine.

A pretrib Rapture is also necessary because the Antichrist will be given authority by God “to make war with the saints, and to overcome them” (Rv 13:7). Such a fate could not befall the church, for Christ said that the “gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mt 16:18). Moreover, true Christians have authority and power to “resist the devil” and “he will flee” (Jas 4:7), for “greater is he that is in [us], than he that is in the world” (1 Jn:4:4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. So the fact that Antichrist is given power by God “to make war with the saints and to overcome [i.e., kill] them” is proof that the true church is no longer present.

The “saints” mentioned are those who have not heard and rejected the gospel prior to the Rapture and who believe in Christ during the Great Tribulation. They will pay for their faith with their lives. Those who take the mark of the beast suffer the wrath of the Lamb, while those who don’t are slain by Antichrist. Thus a post-trib rapture would be a classic nonevent, for there would be very few if any surviving believers to be raptured at that time. And surely those Christians who were left alive, seeing the judgment of God poured out upon mankind and earth’s armies gathered for the battle of Armageddon in an attempt to destroy Israel, would know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the Second Coming was about to occur—and would be watching for their Lord to appear. Yet Christ declared that He would return at a time of such ease that even the “five wise virgins” would “slumber and sleep.” He warned, “[F]or in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh” (Mt 24:44). Hardly likely in the midst of the greatest tribulation and destruction the world has ever seen or ever will see!

To understand how the stage is being set for the final conflict between Christ and Antichrist, it is helpful to consider some comparisons and contrasts between these two antagonists. First of all, the procession of events is in God’s hands. Although we cannot know the day or hour of our Lord’s return, the Bible does give us many clues as to the general timing of this great occurrence.

There is a precise time for Christ’s second coming just as there was for the first: “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son…” (Gal:4:4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, See All…). The same is true of the Antichrist. Quite possibly already present in the world and waiting in the wings, this “man of sin” known as “that Wicked [one]” (2 Thes:2:3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; See All…,8) can only take power when it is God’s time: “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time” (2:6).

Interestingly, the Roman Empire plays an integral part in the timing for the revelation both of God’s Messiah and Satan’s. Ancient Rome set the stage for Christ’s birth: “And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed” (Lk 2:1). It was this decree that caused Joseph and Mary to be in Bethlehem so that Christ would be born there in fulfillment of Micah:5:2But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. See All…. And of course He also had to be executed during the time of the Roman Empire, which introduced crucifixion, in order to fulfill Psalm 22.

For Christ to return, the Roman Empire must be revived. This is clear from Daniel’s interpretation that the distinct parts of the image seen by Nebuchadnezzar “…head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron” (Dn 2:32-33) represented four world kingdoms: the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian and Roman. That the “feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron” (2:41) represent the fourth world kingdom revived in the last days is clear from the statement, “And in the days of these kings [i.e., represented by the ten toes] shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed…[and] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever” (2:44).

Christ did not establish His kingdom the first time He came, so He must come again to do so. When? “In the days of those kings”—i.e., when the Roman Empire has been revived, out of which the Antichrist will arise. No longer “as a lamb to the slaughter” (Isa:53:7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. See All…), but now returning in power and glory to execute judgment upon those who crucified Him, Christ will destroy this evil empire in its revived form at His second coming. So although the date is not given, the timing of Christ’s return is clearly indicated.

It is also essential for the Roman Empire to be revived in order for the Antichrist to appear. Daniel prophesied that “the people of the prince that shall come [i.e., Antichrist] shall destroy the city and the sanctuary…” (Dn 9:26). The Roman armies under the command of Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the temple in AD 70. It is therefore from these people that the Antichrist must arise. That doesn’t necessarily mean that he has to be Roman, since her legions came from many parts of the Empire. It does mean, however, that he must come from that world kingdom—and for that to happen, the Roman Empire must be revived. We are seeing the fulfillment of this most remarkable prophecy in our day.

Calling Antichrist “the prince that shall come” indicates that he, like the ancient Caesars, will rule the Empire when it is revived. Moreover, the ancient Roman Empire was not only a political, economic, and military entity but also a religious one with the god-emperor the head of the pagan priesthood. So in conjunction with a world government, a world religion headed by the new Caesar, the Antichrist, must be established in the last days, exactly as Revelation 13 indicates.

During the periodic waves of Roman persecution that the early Christians endured, all citizens of the Empire were required to bow down to an image of the current Caesar and worship him as god. Those who did not were killed. Such will also be the case under Antichrist in the revived Roman Empire: “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life…[and] as many as would not worship the image of the beast [Antichrist ] should be killed” (Rv 13:8,15).

The contrasts between Christ and Antichrist are also instructive. Our Lord was despised and rejected by Israel and by the world: the Antichrist will be hailed and embraced. Christ was mocked and jeered: the Antichrist will be praised. The cry of those who rejected Christ was, “We’ll not have this man to reign over us!” It is incredible to realize that in contrast the Antichrist will be accepted not only by the world but by Israel as well. Jesus told the Jewish leaders in His day, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive” (Jn:5:43I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. See All…).

Christ’s kingdom of light and truth is heavenly (“My kingdom is not of this world” – Jn:18:36Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
See All…); Antichrist’s kingdom of darkness is built upon a lie and is totally of this world. It is sad to see so many evangelical Christians becoming increasingly entangled in this world, joining with Catholics, Mormons and other cultists and occultists to pursue its political and social agendas—and in the process losing their hope of heaven. It was characteristic of the early church that they knew they were the ekklesia, the called-out ones, who were no longer of this world (Jn:17:6I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. See All…,14,16) but were eagerly waiting (1 Thes:1:10And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. See All…) and watching for Christ to return to take them to heaven (Heb:9:28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. See All…; Jn:14:2-3 [2] In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. See All…). That hope must be awakened!

Mystery surrounds both Christ and Antichrist. Of Christ, Paul wrote, “great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh…” (1 Tm 3:16). And of Antichrist he wrote, “[T]he mystery of iniquity doth already work” (2 Thes:2:7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. See All…). Each has a mysterious bride, one a virgin, the other a harlot. The mystery of godliness, which will be revealed in Christ’s bride, the church, has been “kept secret since the world began” (Rom:16:25Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, See All…) and is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col:1:27To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: See All…). It can only be fully revealed at the last time (1 Pt 1:5).

The mystery of iniquity, which could conversely be called “Satan in you, the hope of damnation,” will also be revealed through a bride, the Antichrist’s. She is called “mystery, babylon the great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth” (Rv 17:5). As Christ loves and preserves His bride, so Satan will “hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire” (Rv 17:16).

The fact that the second coming of Christ in power and glory to rescue Israel, destroy the armies that are about to destroy her, and to set up His kingdom upon the throne of His father David is a separate event from the rapture of His bride, the church, is very clear. Some try to make them one event by suggesting that we will be “caught up to meet the Lord in the air” on His way to earth and will immediately turn around and accompany Him to the Mount of Olives and His intervention at Armageddon. However, Revelation:19:7-14 [7] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. [8] And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. [9] And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. [10] And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. [11] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. [12] His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. [13] And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

A major purpose of the Second Coming is to destroy Antichrist: “whom the Lord shall…destroy with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thes:2:8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: See All…). Thus it is clear that the Second Coming cannot take place until the Antichrist has been revealed and has established his kingdom upon earth. If the Rapture were not a separate event from the Second Coming before the Antichrist is revealed, then Christians would not be watching, waiting, and looking for Christ, but for the Antichrist, which is unthinkable!

One of the growing delusions today is the belief that the church is not to be raptured at all but that when we have taken over the world (and not until then), Christ will return to reign over the kingdom we have established for Him. Yet Christ promised, “And if I go and prepare a place for you [in heaven], I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (Jn:14:3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Paul wrote that “the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air [obviously to be taken home to His Father’s house of many mansions]: and so shall we ever be with the Lord [in heaven, where He has gone to prepare a place for us]” (1 Thes:4:16-17 [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. See All…).

Instead, many who claim to be Christians are looking forward to meeting a “Christ” with their feet planted firmly on planet earth—a “Christ” who has not arrived to take them to heaven but to reign over the kingdom they have established for him. What a delusion! Such have not been working for the true Christ, but for the counterfeit, the Antichrist. They have not been “lay[ing] up…treasures in heaven” (Mt 6:20), but have been building an earthly kingdom. May our Bridegroom reawaken our love for Him, and may our hearts, as it should be with a bride, long to see and be with Him!

In the midst of the coronavirus I met a man who thought he knew Jesus….

In the midst of the coronavirus I met a man who thought he knew Jesus….

What will be the outcome of the coronavirus? This isn’t meant to be prophetic or ‘thus saith the Lord’ … but how the corona virus will soften people’s hearts to ecumenicalism.

I left work last night from a 12 hour nursing day and wanted to hit Walmart to get some things that I needed. I met a stocker, his name was Francesco and he was probably about 60 years old. Very nice man with a thick Italian accent who looked tired and I thanked him for his hard work so we (the public) could have access to necessary items. I noticed a plain cross around his neck and said oh and pointed at it and said “what do you believe?”

He replied I believe in God and Mary. I said what about Jesus? He responded as an afterthought oh right, right him too, he’s the main one. I said he is the only one, him and him alone is the one who forgives us and only through him are we saved. He replied “right right yes! He is the main one because without him, we wouldn’t have Mary. “

As I tried to share more of the real Gospel with him his idolatry of Mary and the pope became more and more evident as he recounted a story to me. It was something along these lines, (difficult to understand with his accent) how many years ago a plague hit Italy and a woman went around the streets praying with “a scent” (??? I assume he meant a saint/graven image) and the plague went away, and according to Francesco, the pope is going to be doing the same thing and “he” (the pope) will make it right.

Once again I tried to redirect him to GOD who is the only one who can “make anything right” but he was so blind to the truth. I wanted to share this because when this virus is gone and it will be (not without much destruction in the process) people will talk about how “we all” came together and “took care” of each other and that’s “what the world” needs is “more kindness and less religion” which really means we don’t want that Jesus guy, or we want a Jesus that we like and create ourselves. And the people who are mixing politics with God, make sure you’re putting God first and Trump isn’t “your pope.”

Can you be a “Christian Freemason?”

Can you be a “Christian Freemason?”

In the last year I have come across a growing number of people bearing the name Christian and at the same time accepting active freemasonry within the same breath. My hope with this blog is to provide the reader with intelligent, organized, and biblical information in order to measure the teachings of freemasonry against the Word of God.

‘Universal Brotherhood’ Day – 24th June – “Freemasonry has no dogma or theology. It offers no sacraments. It teaches that it is important for every man to have a religion of his own choice and to be faithful to it in thought and action. As a result, men of different religions meet in fellowship and brotherhood under the fatherhood of God. A good Mason is made even more faithful to the tenets of his faith by his membership in the Lodge.”

Please take the time to read through the entire blog; the materials used are from freemasonries own primary recognized authorities. Please also take the time to review the three hours of video both at the top and bottom of this blog. There are also several testimonies at the end of the blog that were used with permission.

The Religion of Freemasonry

By Elder Wayne Peters

The Church of Jesus Christ has historically not accepted for membership anyone who is currently a member of a secret order. Similarly, the Church has withdrawn fellowship from any member who became a member of a secret order unless, after appropriate labor with the erring brother or sister, the secret order membership was renounced.

The secret order most often encountered is the Masonic lodge and its various branches including the Masons, Scottish Rites, Shriners, Eastern Star, Demolays and Rainbow Girls. Therefore, this study deals primarily with why a person cannot consistently belong to both the Church and the Masonic lodge. The same scriptural principles would apply to other secret orders.

Historical Position of the Church

The historical practice of the Church in not allowing within its fellowship members of secret orders such as the Masonic lodge is well documented. The Kehukee Association, which consisted of churches from which many present day Primitive Baptist churches derived, took action on this issue on May 20, 1786. Its action is documented in the following extract from the Association’s minutes:

“At this Association it was held to be disorderly to hold communion with a Church member who frequented a Free-Mason Lodge.”

Sylvester Hassell, in his work History of The Church of God, documents other declarations and actions taken by Primitive Baptists of various states recognizing that it is unscriptural and disorderly for church members to belong to the Masonic lodge. These actions were generally taken in the early part of the nineteenth century.

While some other Baptist orders have also taken a scriptural stand against church members belonging to the Masonic Lodge, the sad fact is that today many call themselves both Baptists and Masons.

The Secrecy of Freemasonry

The Masonic lodge system is clothed in secrecy. In fact, one of the earliest oaths taken by an initiate into Freemasonry includes the following:

“I furthermore promise and swear I will not communicate the grand Masonic word except in the way and manner in which I received it and then only in a low breath. To all of which I solemnly and sincerely promise and swear to keep and perform the same without any equivocation, mental reservation or secret evasion of mind in me whatever, binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my body severed in twain, my bowels taken thence and with my body burned to ashes and those ashes scattered to the four winds of heaven so that there might remain name, trace nor remembrance no more forever of so vile a wretch as I… .” Jesus condemned such oaths:

Matthew 5:36 – Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

This condemnation of oaths like those required of Masons was recognized in the London Confession of Faith of 1689 in Chapter 23, Of Lawful Oaths and Vows: “The name of God only is that by which men ought to swear; and therein it is to be used, with all holy fear and reverence; therefore to swear vainly or rashly by that glorious and dreadful name, or to swear at all by any other thing, is sinful, and to be abhorred.

(Matthew 5:34-37; James 5:12; Hebrews 6:16; 2 Corinthians 1:23; Nehemiah 13:25) God’s word not only prohibits such oaths, but also includes specific instruction regarding things taught and practiced in secret:

Ephesians 5:11,12 – And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

A practical consideration of the secrecy of Freemasonry (as if we knew none of the secrets) discloses the inconsistency of Freemasonry and membership in the true Church. For example, Christ says that his people are not to live secret lives, but rather they are to live open lives giving testimony to him:

Matthew 5:14-16 – Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

God’s children are to let their light shine in the praise of their glorious Lord through a life of open obedience. Openness is a part of the Church and worship. In fact, what good motivation could a church member have for participation in secret activities? Jesus said:

John 3:20-21 – For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The principle of this text is clear: Those with evil motivations desire secrecy; those with good motivations desire light. Since God’s children are to abstain from all appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22), they should not participate in activities that are secret and give the appearance that such activities are not Godly and cannot be done in the light!

Scripture condemns secrecy as contrary to the instruction of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel has no secret parts or portion. The secrecy of Freemasonry is contrary to the clear example and instruction of scripture, and this factor alone should be enough to cause God’s children to have no fellowship with the secret teachings and activities of Freemasonry.

God’s children are to live in obedience to the instruction of scripture, not some secret creed; and they are to allow nothing to be exalted above what God has revealed in His Word:

Deuteronomy 29:29 – The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Romans 16:26 – But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

2 Corinthians 10:5 – Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; God has revealed the Word to his children in the scriptures; are the secrets of Freemasonry superior and more authoritative than God’s word so that they must be guarded in secrecy?

Freemasonry and the Bible

Masons treat the Holy Bible as a mere “symbol” of the will of God, and for this reason they accept any “holy book” on their altar. This fact is declared in the Freemasons own recognized authorities (all references to books describing Freemasonry are to Freemasonry’s own recognized authorities and none are from books or writings that are being analytical or critical of Freemasonry

“The Bible is used among Masons as a symbol of the will of God, however it may be expressed. And therefore, whatever to any people expresses that will, may be used as a substitute for the Bible in a Masonic Lodge

Thus in a Lodge consisting of Jews, the Old Testament alone may be placed upon the altar. And the Turkish Masons can make use of the Koran, whether it be the Gospel of the Christian, the Old Testament to the Jew, or the Veda to the Brahman, it conveys the same idea, the will of God to man.” Albert G. Mackey, Encyclopedia of Freemasonry.

“The prevailing Masonic opinion is that the Bible is only a symbol of divine will, law or revelation, and not that its contents are divine law, inspired or revealed.” Henry Wilson Coil, Masonic Encyclopedia, page 520.

“Masonry propagates no creed except it’s own most simple sublime one; that universal religion, taught by nature and reason.” Albert Pike, Morals & Dogma, page 718.

“The Book of the Law shall be an indispensable article of the lodge furniture. This book, however, need not necessarily be the Holy Bible; but according to the religious faith of the members of the lodge. It may be the Koran, the Zend Avesta, or the Vedas or Shasters.” The Freemasons Pocket Companion, pages 4445. Thus, Freemasonry denies that the Bible is the inspired word of God! To make Freemasonry acceptable to persons of all faiths, it treats the Bible as just one among many acceptable religious books, and by doing so denies that the Bible is the only rule of faith and practice for God’s children. The Bible is treated as merely a “symbol” of God’s will along with many other books. If the Bible is only a symbol of God’s will, then to the Mason the art of the lodge is above the revelation of God’s will as set forth in the Scriptures. This is contrary to the clear teaching that scripture is the inspired word of God and there is nothing above it:

2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: God’s children are to beware of any teaching that is contrary to scripture, and certainly any teaching that claims to be superior to God’s Holy Word falls within that category:

Colossians 2:8 – Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Freemasonry and Christ

Freemasonry does not recognize Jesus as the Son of God. Rather, rather it denies the diety of Christ and relegates Him to being just another bearer of part of the light of the “religion” of Freemasonry:

“The true Mason is not creedbound. He realizes with the divine illumination of his lodge that as a Mason his religion must be universal: Christ, Buddha or Mohammed, the name means little, for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer. He worships at every shrine, bows before every altar, whether in temple, mosque or cathedral, realizing with his truer understanding the oneness of all spiritual truth.” Manly P. Hall, 33rd, The Lost Keys of Freemasonry, page 65, Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supply Co. Richmond, Va.,1976.

“It [Masonry] reverences all the great reformers. It sees in Moses, the lawgiver to the Jews, in Confucius and Zoroaster, in Jesus of Nazareth, and in the Arabain Iconclast, great teachers of morality, and eminent reformers, if no more; and allows every brother of the order to assign to each such higher and even divine characteristics as his creed and truth require.” Albert G. Mackey Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, Revised Edition, 1921, page 525.

“We do not undervalue the importance of any Truth. We utter no word that can be deemed irreverent by anyone of any faith. …And as little do we tell the sincere Christian that Jesus of Nazareth was but a man like us, or His history but the unreal revival of an older legend.” Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma, page 524. Contrary to the teaching of Freemasonry, the Bible teaches that Jesus is the Christ, and the only Saviour and Son of the true and living God:

1 Corinthians 8:6 – But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

1 Timothy 2:5 – For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 John 2:22 – Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

The Christian believes that Jesus is the Christ and the only Son of God, and Freemasonry teaches that Jesus is just one of many bearers of light. With this blatent inconsistency of belief, how can one claim to be both a Christian and a Freemason? The fact is that he can’t without being totally inconsistent in both belief and practice, for the truths of Christianity and and the beliefs of Freemasonry are totally inconsistent and incompatible!

The Religion of Freemasonry

To better understand why members of the Church cannot consistently belong to a Masonic lodge, it is important to have some understanding of what Freemasonry is and what it teaches.

First, and foremost, Freemasonry is a religion. Most Masons contend that Freemasonry is not a religion, claiming instead that it is a “fraternal order” or a social order for personal improvement which engages in benevolent work. However, as discussed more fully below, the argument that Freemasonry is not a religion is refuted by the officially prescribed activities and creeds of the lodge. While Freemasonry may not be a religion in name, it is certainly one in creed and practice.

The religion of Freemasonry is a secret religion which teaches that good works and activities as taught by Freemasonry are the way to heaven. This works religion is contrary to the doctrines of grace taught by the Word of God and held by the true Church.

The Bible teaches that there is but one gospel, and that any teaching contrary to the one true gospel is subject to God’s curse. Church fellowship is not to be maintained with anyone who, after they have been labored with in love, teaches or adheres to doctrine contrary to the one true gospel of Jesus Christ:

Galatians 1:6-9 – I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

2 John 1:10 – If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Titus 3:10 – A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

The Greek word translated “accursed” in Galatians 1:6-9 is “anathema” which means a religious ban or excommunicated thing or person. Those who teach and adhere to doctrine contrary to the doctrine of scripture are to be banned or excummunicated. Of course, this should only occur after appropriate labor in accordance with the instruction of scripture and in a spirit of love.

If anyone can understand why a person cannot simultaneously be a member of the Baptists and the Mormons, or the Church of God and the Catholic Church, or any two religious bodies that are totally inconsistent in doctrine and practice, then they should be able to easily understand why a person cannot at the same time be a member of the true Church and the Masonic lodge! A person simply cannot in good faith subscribe to two different religious beliefs when they are so diametrically opposed to each other.

The Opinion of Freemasonry’s Authorities

Freemasonry is a religion. While those who want to be active in both Freemasonry and the Church may argue otherwise, the fact that Freemasonry is a religion is asserted by Freemasonry’s own and most widely accepted authorities:

Albert Mackey, Encyclopedia of Freemasonry:

“The religion of Freemasonry is not sectarian. It admits men of every creed within its hospitable bosom, rejecting none and approving none for his peculiar faith. It is not Judaism, though there is nothing in it to offend the Jew; it is not Christianity, but there is nothing in it repugnant to the faith of a Christian. Its religion is that general one of nature and primitive revelation handed down to us from some ancient and patriarchial priesthood–in which all men may agree and in which no men can differ.” (Page 641) Henry Wilson Coil, Masonic Encyclopedia:

“Freemasonry has a religious service to commit the body of a deceased brother to the dust whence it came and to speed the liberated spirit back to the great Source of Light. Many Freemasons make this flight with no other guarantee of a safe landing than their belief in the religion of Freemasonry.” Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma:

“It [Masonry] reverences all the great reformers. It sees Moses, Confucius, Zoroaster, Jesus of Nazareth, … Great Teachers of Morality, and Eminent Reformers, if no more: and allows every brother of the Order to assign to each such higher and even Divine Character as his Creed and Truth require.” (Page 525).

“Masonry, around whose altars the Christian, the Hebrew, the Moslem, the Brahman, the followers of Confucius and Zoroaster, can assemble as brethren and unite in prayer to the one God who is above all the Baalim, must needs leave it to each of its initiates to look for the foundation of his faith and hope to the written scriptures of his own religion.” (Page 226) The above statements from authorities accepted and approved by Freemasonry clearly document that Freemasonry is a religion and is considered as such by knowledgeable Masons.

When Masons assemble together, they meet in a “temple” to offer “prayers” to the “Great Architect of the Universe”; and “kneel” at the “sacred altar” to engage in their “sacred vows”. On the “sacred altar” is a “Volume of Sacred Law” which can be a Bible, a Koran or any other holy book. What more could be required before an assembly could accurately be referred to as a religion?

Freemasonry As A Works System

The religion of Freemasonry is a works system which teaches that man earns an eternal home in heaven by his good works. Freemasonry teaches that “conduct which is essentially necessary to …gaining admission into the Celestial Lodge Above” (See 3. Initiation Lambskin below).

There is not a single mention of Jesus Christ or salvation by the grace of God in the ritual teaching of Freemasonry! Therefore, the teaching of Freemasonry is contrary to the plain teaching of the Bible that salvation is by grace and not by works:

Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Acts 4:10-12 – Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, …Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Evidence From Rituals

The rituals of Freemasonry, when examined in the light of God’s Word, confirm that Freemasonry is a religion, and also that it is a false “works system” of religion. Portions of the Masonic rituals will be discussed below to document this fact!

Initiation Introduction

The initiation ritual for a Freemason discloses this works system. As part of the initiation process, the candidate is introduced to the “Senior Deacon” as follows:

_________, a poor blind Candidate, who desires to be brought from darkness to light; who wishes to receive a part of the rights and benefits of this right worshipful Lodge erected to God and dedicated to the holy Saints John, as many brothers and fellows have done before him. One of the Mason’s own leading authorities on Freemasonry describes this ritual as follows:

“There he stands, without our portals, on the threshold of his new Masonic life, in darkness, helplessness and ignorance. Having been wandering amid the errors and covered over with the pollution of the outer and profane world, he comes inquiringly to our door seeking the new birth and asking a withdrawal of the veil which conceals divine truth from his uninitiated eyes.” Albert Mackey, The Manual of the Lodge, page 20. Freemasons say that they are the light which reveals divine truth, contrary to what Jesus Christ says about himself being the light:

John 8:12 – Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jesus Christ is the source of spiritual light for God’s children, not Freemasonry:

2 Timothy 1:10 – …Our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Initiation Prayer

The initiation prayer for a new Mason, which is offered by the Worshipful Master, is as follows:

“Vouchsafe thine aid, Almighty Father of the Universe, to this our present convention, and grant that this Candidate for Masonry may dedicate and devote his life to thy service. Endue him with the competency of thy divine wisdom, that by the secrets of our art, he may be better enabled to display the beauties of holiness of thy holy name. Amen.” Notice that it is by the “secrets or our art” that the initiate, who was in darkness but now has the light, can display the beauties of holiness! Is this not contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ that we are to follow him:

John 12:26 – If any man serve me, let him follow me;

Also notice, that this prayer is not in the name of Jesus Christ, as his name is not mentioned in Freemasonry.

The Grand Lodge of the State of Maryland has issued a statement explaining the significance of this prayer, and also disclosing the works system of Masonry:

“Thus, Masonry is a great fellowship of men of all countries and ages who are capable of discovering in the religious teachings of all humanity, some of them crude indeed, the fundamental truth common to them all: that God is the Father of all mankind and all men are brethren, that this principle is worth dying for, and that he who remains steadfast in the service of this ideal may well hope for and expect immortal life.” According to the doctrine of Freemasonry, eternal life can be expected by all men of all religions, if they are Masons who remain steadfast to their Masonic service! They thus obviously have no need for the benefit of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, for they claim to earn eternal life through their secret Masonic arts!

If Freemasonry has a way to eternal life, why should they keep it secret! Why not share it with all? The fact is the lodge has no way to eternal life and has nothing to share with God’s children who through his grace are saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Initiation Lambskin

Upon the completion of the initiation, the new Mason is addressed by the Worshipful Master as follows:

“I’d like to present you, Brother _____, with this lambskin, or white leather apron, which is an emblem of innocence and a badge of a Mason… He therefore who wears a lambskin as a badge of a Mason is continually reminded of that purity of life and conduct which is so essentially necessary to his gaining admission into the Celestial Lodge Above.” Notice that the Mason is taught that it is “purity of life and conduct” by which one gains admission to heaven; contrary to the teaching of the scriptures that we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Masonic Funeral Service

The standard Masonic funeral service which is recited by fellow masons states:

“Masonry seeks constantly to build the temple of the soul, and thus to fit us for that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. When our brother labored with us in Masonic attire, he wore a white apron, which he was taught was an emblem of innocence and a badge of a Mason. By it, he was constantly reminded of that purity of life and that rectitude of conduct so necessary to his gaining admission into the Celestial Lodge Above.”

Again, as in the other parts of the ritual, at the grave praise is given to the Mason for his good life by which he earned an eternal home. Not one mention is made of the saving work of Jesus Christ. It is adherance to the teachings of Masonry which Freemasonry claims to fit one for heaven; thus denying that salvation is alone by Jesus Christ!

Not one mention is made of the fact that Jesus taught that we are saved by him alone:

John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 John 1:7 – But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Titus 3:5 – Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Ephesians 2:8-10 – For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

The Bible teaches that we get to heaven by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and not by the “secret art” revealed by Freemasonry.

Freemasonry in its oaths and rituals teaches a works system of salvation, and thereby denies that salvation is by the grace of God and through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Those who deny salvation through the Lord Jesus have no right to fellowship in His Church.

The secret practices and doctrines of Freemasonry are contrary to the doctrines of the Bible and the Church. Freemasonry and its teachings conflict with the truth of God’s Word. There are many good men, sincere in their Christian beliefs, who as Masons also hold to beliefs contrary to their Christian beliefs.

It is likely that there are many Masons who do not realize that the teachings of Freemasonry are in direct conflict with the teachings of the Bible. It is important to remember this in dealing with Masons, and to help them to compare the teaching of scripture with the teaching of Freemasonry.

When a child of God is led to a knowledge of the truth of the doctrines of grace, and compares those true doctrines to the teaching of Freemasonry, they should follow the teaching of Jesus and renounce that which is contrary to his Word:

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 – Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; …

God’s children who are entangled in the yoke of Freemasonry should repent of their error and follow Jesus’ instruction to “be ye separate.” To do less than this is to deny the clear teaching of Jesus and the Bible!

Revelation 13

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If any man have an ear, let him hear.

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six.

The Meeting Intended to Unify All Religions.

The Meeting Intended to Unify All Religions.

See Biblical Christianity here.

“Pope Francis received the Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb of Al-Azhar of Egypt at the Vatican on Friday (15 November 2019, 17:21). The meeting was intended as the next step in actualizing the Document on the Human Brotherhood for World Peace and Common Living Together, a joint statement signed by the Pope and the Imam in February in Abu Dhabi intended to promote a culture of mutual respect.

The meeting at the Vatican comes at a time when traditional values in the Catholic Church are changing. Pope Francis has taken on a policy in which homosexuals are welcomed into the church so much so that the American LGBT magazine The Advocate named Pope Francis their Person of the Year for 2013. In 2019, Pope Francis stated that homosexual “tendencies are not a sin. If you have a tendency to anger, it’s not a sin. Some Catholic Churches are taking this agenda even further. Catholic dioceses in the United Kingdom are reportedly hosting homosexual Masses designed to welcome homosexuals into the church and combine “gay pride” with the Eucharist and other Romish sacraments. According to reports, these pro-homosexuality events have received blessings from the local Roman Catholic bishops. It should be noted that these events welcome homosexuals into the Catholic Church while not advocating celibacy.

Pope Francis has come under fire before for connecting the Catholic Church with the children of Ishmael. In 2015, 71 elders of the Sanhedrin tried the Pope in absentia for recognizing a “State of Palestine” with an official treaty. By doing so, the Sanhedrin claimed, the Pope was denying the covenant as described in the Bible in which God gives the land of Israel to the descendants of Jacob.” ~ Breaking News Israel

What is the one-world religion described in Revelation? What will be the one-world religion of the end times?

Revelation 17 speaks of a “great prostitute” (or “great harlot”) that is generally understood as a metaphor for a false religion that will exist during the tribulation period. Many have debated the identity of this religion, with some arguing the Roman Catholic Church, Islam, or another large religious movement will be the end-times, one-world religion.

This false end-times religion will include sexual immorality (Revelation 17:2). It will also likely have its headquarters in Rome, often described even in New Testament times as Babylon (Revelation 17:5; 1 Peter 5:13). It will be opposed to Christians, as well as reject the Jews since the Antichrist will defile the temple as the abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15). Ultimately, the deception during this time will be so great that Jesus taught, “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).

Anti is a Greek prefix that not only means “opposed to” but “in the place of.” Antichrist will indeed oppose Christ but in the most diabolically clever way possible: by pretending to be Christ. For the world to follow and worship him, a false Christianity must become the world religion—a “Christianity” that all religions can… Read more

How many gods do you actually believe in?

How many gods do you actually believe in?

Whether it’s 330 (33 million, or ’just’ 33 depending on the hindu source) million ‘gods’ in hinduism or the 10,000 in rome — the point is that polytheism is polytheism.

Although if you were to ask a hindu if they were polytheistic, they would likely respond with a ‘no’, as would most people who follow the teachings of rome. Neither party would ‘consider’ themselves polytheistic — but they are, in actions.

Prayer is defined in its most basic form as an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship through deliberate communication.

In the narrow sense, the term refers to an act of supplication or intercession directed towards a deity (a god). When praying to a ‘god’ (‘saints’, ‘dead relatives’, ’spirits’ etc) other than GOD the Creator of all that is: the person (consciously or subconsciously) is assigning Gods attributes (omnipresent, omniscience, omnipotence) to that object of affection: so by default making that object an idol or a god.

Whether the person calls the object (s) of worship/adoration an idol or god or not, they’ve made that object (s) a god by their deeds, despite a conflicting verbal refutation of the former.

  • You shall have NO other gods before Me.”
  • “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God……”Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Acts 17:29
  • “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5
  • “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Once indoctrinated ….. but now free.

Once indoctrinated ….. but now free.

Religious indoctrination, the original sense of indoctrination, refers to a process of imparting doctrine in an authoritative way, as in catechism.  I am certain my parents were doing what they thought was best, doing what their parents taught them, and what their parents, parents taught them and so on and so on, handing down a set of cultural and traditional belief systems through the generations.

Those (aberrant) belief systems are what God calls doctrines of men, traditions of men, and doctrines of demons.

God loves all people and wants them to come to a SAVING knowledge of His son Jesus Christ.

In Revelation and also Deuteronomy when we are told do not add or take from the words of this book/law/word. (Jesus Christ is the Word made Flesh John 1:14) All cults have one major factor in common, that is, they will assault Jesus’ Deity in some way. Walter Martin defined cultism as “…any major deviation from orthodox Christianity relative to the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith.”

Soteriology: The Work of Christ on the Cross is another area cults will attack.

The Bible states that man’s acceptance with God is based entirely on Christ’s work on the cross, completely apart from man’s works for God (Gal. 2:16,21; Rom. 3:19-26). Because of this, man receives God’s acceptance as a free gift by faith alone (Eph. 2:8,9). Though saving faith is evidenced by works in the life of the believer (James. 2:16-24), they are regarded as the fruit of salvation (Gal. 5:22,23), not as the basis for it. Cults generally attack the full sufficiency of Christ’s work on the cross and thus make salvation dependent finally upon man’s works for God.

Literally yes as in another “bible”

  • The Book of Mormon
  • The Watchtower
  • The Vatican / catechism & title vicar of Christ

Mormonism/JW’s (and some sects of Seventh Day Adventists and in many respects roman catholicism are the- modern day Judaizers ) clearly take away from Christ’s deity.

The official teachings of Rome (Vatican II /catechism) add to Christ’s deity by elevating Mary to co-redemptive / mediatrix—not to mention praying to her or any deceased person is necromancy, an abomination according to God, not according to the Maccabees, but according to God Almighty, Gods Word.

There is no biblical support (according to God) for Mary having any redemptive role in salvation found in Jesus Christ alone, nor does she have a special role in any church, no such thing found according to God’s Word. Mary was a sinful human being who needed Jesus Christ as her Savior, just like everyone else according to scripture (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 John 1:8). Luke 1:46-47 “And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” The pope replacing Christ (aka taking the title of Vicar of Christ) The biblical “Vicar of Christ” is the Holy Spirit John 14:26 according to Scripture.

So therefore like Paul said this (biblically according to God) constitutes another gospel another jesus & like Paul said (Galatians 1:6-9)

Dave Hunt from The Berean Call answers a question:

Question: “I have read and profited from your excellent book, “A Woman Rides the Beast”…And yet, 1 John 4 gives us a scriptural “litmus test” for recognizing the difference between the Spirit of God and the spirit of Antichrist. To the best of my understanding, the Roman Catholic Church does emphatically teach and confess the truth of this doctrine [that “Jesus Christ is come in the flesh”] as distinguished from the many pseudo Christian cults which explicitly deny it. If that is the case, then doesn’t it follow that the Spirit of God must still be speaking in some fashion through the Roman Catholic Church, and that it cannot be considered completely apostate?

Answer: Thank you for your encouraging remarks concerning “A Woman Rides the Beast.” I don’t understand, however, what you mean by “completely apostate.” Apostate is apostate. If a church preaches a false gospel that damns the soul (as Catholicism, like Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons, does) is it any consolation that it does affirm some truth (as all three do)? Obviously not. A false gospel that damns the soul is a false gospel that damns the soul even if some elements of it may be biblical.

Does the Roman Catholic Church pass the test of 1 John 4, “every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God,” and therefore “cannot be considered completely apostate”? No. The English “is come” in the King James follows the Greek construction, which means “came once for all time.” The body that Jesus took when He “was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (Jn 1: 14) was resurrected and He still occupies that body in glory, and will forever.

This fact obviously eliminates reincarnation. It also eliminates the Roman Catholic Mass. In that alleged “sacrifice” it is claimed that Christ comes again and again “in flesh” through priests turning wafers into Jesus Christ, whole and entire, body, soul, spirit and divinity, to be ingested into the stomachs of the faithful for the forgiveness of their sins.

Furthermore, even if the Roman Catholic Church passed this test, that would not mean that she preaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ, which, of course, she does not. First John 4 does not say that to confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh means that everything else this person or group may say is therefore also of God. Balaam said much that was from God, even giving valid prophecies, but he also said much not from God and is in hell today.

Yes, Roman Catholicism does teach some truth: that Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, died for our sins on the cross, rose the third day and is coming again. Yet even the truth which it teaches it perverts: Mary is the immaculately conceived, ever virgin “mother of God,” Jesus is still dying in the sacrifice of the Mass, and His death upon the cross nearly 2,000 years ago was not sufficient to save but He must be “immolated” perpetually on Catholic altars, and ingested into one’s stomach to provide increments of salvation. Such teachings constitute “another gospel” and warrant Paul’s anathema (Gal:1:6-9).”
